Plate Processing
United Engineering stocks over 150 tons of plate at our Island Plate facility. This includes mild steel, 44W and QT plate in sizes up to 2".We have the following equipment:
- 10'x40' Burning table with a gantry type 5 torch CNC burning machine.
- 10' Shear capable of 3/8" 44W steel plate.
- Two hydraulic brakes. One 150 ton and the other 320 ton capable of bending 14' wide plate.
- 8' Wide rolls.
